VWR International, LLC Acquires Basan UK Limited

RADNOR, Pa., April 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- VWR International, LLC, a global provider of laboratory supplies, equipment and services announced today the acquisition of Basan UK Limited, a leading distributor of cleanroom products and services.  VWR enables science globally by providing product and service solutions to laboratories and production facilities to drive advancements in healthcare, technology, science education and industrial applications.

This acquisition builds upon VWR's recent acquisition of basan GmbH, headquartered in Germany.  Basan UK Limited distributes a number of well-known brands to various industries across the UK including pharmaceutical, microelectronics, semi-conductor and medical device.
