WAFFLE HOUSE JUKEBOX FAVORITES VOLUME 2 CD to be Released During National Waffle Week 2011

NORCROSS, Ga., Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Music fans have an additional reason to celebrate this National Waffle Week, September 4-10, with today's announcement of the release of WAFFLE HOUSE JUKEBOX FAVORITES VOLUME 2.

The CD is a compilation of ten songs that have been featured on Waffle House® jukeboxes nationwide including favorites "Bert" by Jason Phelps and "Save Me" by Kaitlyn Rogers. The CD is available for purchase at www.wafflehouse.com for ten dollars. Individual songs can be downloaded through iTunes and Amazon.

All proceeds from the sale of music from the WAFFLE HOUSE JUKEBOX FAVORITES VOLUME 2 CD benefit the Marcus Autism Center, the leader in research, diagnosis and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs).

To help celebrate the release of the CD, Waffle House founders Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner are scheduled to be at an open house of the Waffle House Museum in Avondale Estates, Ga., on Saturday, September 10th, from noon-3pm.  

In addition to buying the new CD, Waffle House fans can tour a replica of the first restaurant and see memorabilia through the years. The Waffle House Founders will also answer questions and talk about how they started Waffle House restaurants.  The Waffle House Museum is located at 2719 E. College Blvd, Decatur, Ga. 30030.
