("Wafra"), a New York-based global alternative investment manager, and Hunt Companies ("Hunt"), a privately-held real estate and investment company, today announced the launch of Strata Land Partners ("Strata"), a land finance platform focused on providing flexible capital solutions to public and private homebuilders and developers across the United States.
The new platform addresses the growing demand among homebuilders for more efficient, flexible capital partners that can navigate today's market. Drawing on deep industry experience, Strata is positioned as a long-term capital partner that brings strategic solutions to each transaction.
The platform, which has launched with projects comprising approximately 1,300 single-family lots, is led by Chief Executive Officer Mike Forsum, a veteran of the homebuilding industry. Forsum was most recently President and COO of Landsea Homes, a formerly publicly traded national homebuilder, and brings more than 40 years of leadership experience navigating the operational challenges and investment decisions facing homebuilders.
