Walter Pryor joins CEANNATE Corp. as VP of Government Relations

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CEANNATE Corp., an outperformer for business process outsourcing services providing key expertise in the financial environment surrounding higher education in the United States, today announced the hiring of Walter Pryor as Vice President of Government Relations.  CEANNATE's subsidiaries focus on education portfolio receivables management, education loan servicing and government payment integrity solutions.

Pryor is an attorney with significant experience in government affairs. He served as legislative director to Senator Mark Pryor from 2003 to 2006.  Before that he was deputy director and managing attorney for the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) and a member of the Justice Department during the administration of President Bill Clinton. Most recently, he served as principal and general counsel of The Podesta Group in Washington, D.C., and head of government affairs for a global provider of post-secondary education programs.

Pryor received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a political science degree from Hendrix College, where he serves on the Board of Trustees.  He also sits on the boards of the Washington Children's Foundation, National Collegiate Preparatory Public Charter High School in Washington, D.C. and Legal Prep Charter Academies in Chicago.  Pryor began his career as a litigator with Jones Day in Washington, D.C.
