WatchGuard Expands Network Security Support for Microsoft Hyper-V Customers

SEATTLE, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at Interop 2013, WatchGuard® Technologies, a global leader in manageable business security solutions, announced it is expanding its network security offerings for customers using Microsoft Hyper-V virtualized environments. Virtualization offers flexibility and cost savings for businesses of all sizes, yet security concerns continue to prevent many IT professionals from making the switch. WatchGuard, which recently became an official member of the Microsoft Partner Network, has added Hyper-V support to its powerful XTMv unified threat management (UTM) platform, and is planning to add support to its XCSv content security solution in the third quarter of 2013, to help customers feel confident and secure in their choice to use a virtualized computing environment.
