Waterton Named One of Crain's 2019 Best Places to Work in Chicago
Community Involvement and Meaningful Cultural and Philanthropic Initiatives Set Company Apart
CHICAGO, March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Waterton, a Chicago-based real estate investor and operator, is pleased to announce that it has been named one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Chicago. As part of the annual ranking, Crain's Chicago Business partnered with Best Companies Group to identify companies in Chicago that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees.
Determining the Best Places to Work in Chicago involved a two-step process. The first step, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation, consisted of evaluating each participating company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part consisted of employee surveys aimed at assessing the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation.
