RICHMOND, Va., March 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- WayForth, now the nation's largest provider of senior-focused relocation and home transition solutions, announced today that the company has completed the acquisition of TAD Relocation and TAD Transport, collectively "TAD." TAD is one of the largest senior relocation companies in the United States, serving Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia. Like WayForth, TAD provides integrated moving and senior move management services, offering seniors and other clients going through challenging transitions a complete home transition solution. Susan Danick, founder of TAD said, "We are excited to be a part of the WayForth platform. It offers great opportunities for our clients and our amazing TAD family who will all be joining WayForth."
Less than a week ago, WayForth announced the acquisition of Door to Door Solutions in Richmond, VA, the leading senior move management firm in the Central Virginia region. Katie Hamann and Donnie Harper are the founders and owners of Door to Door Solutions and have collaborated informally as industry partners with the TAD team for many years. Craig Shealy, WayForth's co-founder and CEO noted, "With these two acquisitions, as well as with the prior deals, we have been fortunate enough to recruit the Dream Team of senior move management and relocation services. As a company, we can provide great support to families in transition and senior communities from Philadelphia to Charlotte and back. Together, we now have more people in more markets with more experience than any other player in the industry." In December 2018, WayForth acquired Chaos to Calm, which provides senior move services in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that transaction, the company acquired Moving Solutions, which has provided senior move management services in the Philadelphia, PA market for over 22 years.
As a part of the transaction, Susan Danick, Joel Danick and Siamak Massoudi will join WayForth's leadership team, which already includes Margit Novack (from Moving Solutions and the founding President of the National Association of Senior Move Management), Katie Hamann and Donnie Harper (from Door to Door Solutions), and Lori Fike (from Chaos to Calm). "Together with other WayForth team members, our combined team now has over 300 years of experience serving seniors and families in transition," Shealy noted.
