COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WBNS-10TV General Manager John Cardenas has announced the appointment of Kelly Frank, as director of news and digital content.
Frank most recently worked as Sr. Managing Editor: Broadcast, Digital and Social for WGCL in Atlanta. Frank has also worked as Executive Producer, U.S. Operations for CNN. While at CNN, Frank oversaw special coverage for hurricanes, politics, the Japan Earthquake/Tsunami and the Gulf Oil spill producing shows with Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Christiane Amanpour and Soledad O'Brien. Frank's work at CNN earned her team the prestigious George Foster Peabody award three times.

As director of news and digital content, Frank will manage content for Central Ohio's News Leader across all screens: television, digital and social.

Before working at CNN, Frank worked as Executive Producer in Washington DC for Fox owned WTTG, overseeing the Emmy-award winning morning and evening news. She's also worked in similar capacities at the NBC affiliates in Phoenix and Milwaukee. Kelly's first day will be August 30th.
