WealthCounsel Releases WealthDocx® Semiannual Update
Editorial Review Process and Twice-Yearly Enhancements Position WealthDocx as the Estate Planning Industry's Most Robust Document Drafting System
MADISON, Wis., Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- WealthCounsel, a nationwide organization of tax, estate, and business planning attorneys, announced the second of its semiannual updates to the WealthDocx® estate planning software system. The updates are the result of a comprehensive and substantive review process designed to maintain WealthDocx as the industry's most robust, relevant, and practice-friendly document drafting system on the market.
"The Summer 2011 Enhancement features major content changes to the Revocable Living Trust and Irrevocable Trust systems, as well as changes to the software's functionality designed to improve the user experience," said Thomas J. Ray, Jr., Esq., executive editor of WealthDocx and a WealthCounsel principal.
Under Ray's oversight, all document assembly modules within WealthDocx undergo extensive technical review to continuously ensure that the software provides the most relevant and compelling strategies to help attorneys serve clients' planning needs. Four committees comprised of experienced WealthCounsel member attorneys meet several times a year under Ray's leadership to review and revise legal language for documents in the categories of business planning, charitable planning, asset protection planning, and advanced planning. "We did a lot of research to determine which legal content publishing companies exemplified the best editorial practices for excellence, and we created a very vigorous process that exceeds them all," said Ray. "We believe our editorial processes demonstrate our commitment to provide the most relevant, efficient, comprehensive, and user-friendly document drafting system in the estate planning market," Ray added.
WealthDocx was reviewed in April 2011 by Trusts & Estates legal technology writer Don Kelley who, for the second time in two years, assigned the document drafting system a five star rating for overall usability.
