Weber Announces Addition of Vibrant Colors to Popular Q Line

PALATINE, Ill., April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber-Stephen Products LLC, the world's leading manufacturer of outdoor gas and charcoal grills, announces a major addition to its popular Q gas grill line. For the first time, the Q 1200 grills—a portable grill with big grill performance—will include a variety of vibrant color options.

According to the 26^th Weber GrillWatch Survey, 54 percent of female grill owners and 46 percent of males prefer color on their grill. The new Q 1200 grill comes in six fun colors:  Orange, Fuchsia, Green, Purple, Blue, and Black and is available now at major retail stores. MSRP:  $219. The Q 1200 gas grill features 189-square inches of cooking space, porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grates, two folding work tables, electronic ignition, and a built-in lid thermometer.

VERSATILITY: The Q 1200 grills feature a split cooking grate that allows grillers to remove half of the grill grate and replace it with a porcelain-enameled cast iron griddle for cooking foods like scallops, eggs, or smaller vegetables. (Griddle sold separately; MSRP:  $44.99.)

PORTABILITY: On-the-go grillers will easily be able to transport and set up Q 1200 grills with Weber's Q Portable Cart (MSRP: $79.99) whether they're hitting the beach, or gathering for a tailgate party. The innovative carts feature a simple mechanism that allows users to set up the stand in a snap, and a leg-locking indicator ensures the cart is locked and ready to support the grill. When not in use, or when transporting the grill, the cart folds down with the grill attached and can simply be wheeled like a suitcase.
