Weber Grills App Wins Prestigious Webby Award

PALATINE, Ill., May 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Released less than a year ago, The Weber Grills App, a free app devoted to grilling aficionados, has been selected as a Winner for the 17^th Annual Webby Awards in the Lifestyle (Handheld Devices) category.

Created by award-winning Denver-based advertising and marketing agency Rabble+Rouser, the app, launched in August of 2012 quickly garnered more than 200,000 downloads.

The free app includes: a Grill Gallery with specifications and buying information on Weber's range of grills—from charcoal to gas and electric; a subscription to Weber's Recipe of the Week program; access to Weber's online community, Weber Nation; and grilling tips, techniques, videos, blogs and more.
