Webull Expands Cloud MCP to Enable AI-Powered Trading Without Coding or Installation

New capabilities allow eligible users to research markets, analyze portfolios and prepare trades through AI assistants using Webull's cloud-based MCP server

NEW YORK, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Webull (NASDAQ: BULL), an online investment platform, today announced an expansion of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, enabling eligible Webull users to leverage AI assistants to research markets, analyze their portfolios, and prepare trades through Webull's cloud-based MCP server without requiring programming knowledge, API credentials, or software installation. 

Webull's Cloud MCP is a fully managed, Webull-hosted server that connects compatible AI assistants to Webull's market intelligence, account information, and investment tools. With the latest update, authorized users can move from research and portfolio analysis to trade preparation within the same AI conversation, while maintaining control over every transaction. Each trade requires separate customer confirmation before an order can be submitted to the market. 

The expanded Cloud MCP capabilities enable eligible Webull users to: 

• Access real-time and historical market data across stocks, ETFs, options, futures, crypto, and event contracts 

• Research company fundamentals and filings 

• Run market screeners and analyze investment opportunities 

• View authorized account balances, positions and order history 

• Manage watchlists 

• Prepare orders based on an AI-assisted research workflow

Unlike Webull's local MCP server, Cloud MCP does not require users to install software, generate API credentials, or manage access keys. Customers can connect their existing Webull account through supported AI platforms, authorize the accounts and capabilities they want to make available, and begin using Webull tools through a conversational interface.

Orders must be separately confirmed through Webull before execution. 

Cloud MCP is currently available to eligible Webull users in the United States through supported AI platforms including Claude, Perplexity and Grok, with availability through ChatGPT pending platform approval. Webull is also working to expand availability to additional markets and AI platforms.
