Unique Instant-On Validation Program Provides Immediate Access to Full Security Suite

To support this vision, Wedge Networks is taking an aggressive approach by offering a 45-day trial with fast technology validation to its channel partners. This unique offering, called the "Instant-On Program," provides resellers and end-user customers with access to the entire Wedge security suite, including data loss prevention, anti-virus, spam, malware and content filtering.  When run as a WedgeOS VMware virtual appliance, the solution provides either a perimeter security gateway or security from the Cloud as a Wedge StarGate Server.

It is a true enterprise software solution for Internet security that requires no special hardware. By installing VMware and loading the WedgeOS platform, along with desired security components onto an open server, end-user customers reduce IT spending by consolidating servers while taking advantage of the desired security components.

By providing customers with instant access to the full security suite, resellers will alleviate many of the challenges they face when selling firewalls, UTM or other hardware appliances through an evaluation process.
