LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Jan. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- WeiserMazars LLP, one of the nation's top 25 accounting firms, announced today it has merged with the Garden City, Long Island accounting firm Biscotti, Toback & Company, a regional firm specializing in the food and beverage industry. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.   

This merger is part of WeiserMazars strategic program that aims to serve a growing base of clients, including those that are larger and more complex.  A team of eight partners and more than 30 staff members will join the WeiserMazars' Long Island practice, increasing the firm's ability to serve its clients with the subject matter expertise and physical presence throughout the country that they may require and making it one of the largest accounting firms on Long Island.
