WellCare of Iowa Signs Agreement with Mercy Health Network to Serve Iowa's Medicaid Population
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa and TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- WellCare of Iowa, a subsidiary of WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG), and Mercy Health Network announced today they have signed an agreement that gives WellCare of Iowa's Medicaid members in-network coverage through the Mercy Health Network (MHN). This agreement includes access to medical centers, community hospitals, physician clinics, urgent care centers, ambulatory care centers, skilled nursing facilities and other services and facilities owned by or affiliated with MHN. Acute care services include, but are not limited to, maternity and infant care, children's care, emergency care, cancer care, behavioral medicine, cardiac care, senior care, neurology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation in all of the communities and regions of Iowa served by MHN.
