West Cancer Center & Research Institute Announces Mitch Graves as Chief Executive Officer

GERMANTOWN, Tenn., April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- West Cancer Center & Research Institute (WCCRI) announced today that Mitch Graves has been named Chief Executive Officer.

Mitch brings a wealth of experience with over 30 years in leadership positions directly with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. As CEO of HealthChoice, LLC, a joint venture between Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and MetroCare Physicians, Mitch had a positive impact on over 125,000 patients with the creation of an Accounstable Care Organization that contracted with major payers including, Medicare, Cigna and United Healthcare- managing over $750 million in medical spend while improving quality, patient's health and experience.

Before his tenure with HealthChoice, Mitch served as president and CEO of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare's Affiliated Services Division for 8 years. The Affiliated Services Division was comprised of surgery centers, diagnostic centers, minor med and urgent care centers, and sleep centers. This division also included Alliance Health Services which provides home care, hospice, and home medical equipment. Prior to being division president, Mitch was Methodist's Corporate Director of Finance.

Mitch serves on the Church Health Center's finance committee, is board vice-chairman for Memphis Light Gas and Water and board vice president of the Economic Club of Memphis and serves as trustee for Christian Brothers University (CBU). On a national level, he is a member of United Healthcare's Executive Advisory Council and Cigna's National Health Care Advisory Council.
