West Michigan's 101 Best and Brightest Elite Winners Announced Today
HUDSONVILLE, Mich., May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA), honored 101 West Michigan companies that set the standard for innovation and implementation for human resources initiatives. This year's winning companies were honored at West Michigan's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For™ annual awards luncheon. Of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies honored, 12 Elite Winners were named.
This is the 11th year that the MBPA has presented this annual event, which provides companies with the opportunity to pursue a 101 Best and Brightest designation. "We welcome the opportunity for these elite companies to be recognized and honored," said Jennifer Kluge, president of the MBPA, which presents the 101 Best and Brightest program. "Elite companies look beyond competitive compensation and benefits and place emphasis on communication, work-life balance, diversity, community initiatives and other key factors. It takes dedication and commitment to one's employees to be named an Elite Winner."
The 12 Elite winners are selected based on their overall high scores and then named an Elite winner in their highest performing category. (See list of Elite winners following.) The most prestigious award, the "Best of the Best," was presented to Southwest Michigan First of Kalamazoo, which demonstrated excellence in all categories.
