Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation Declares $0.38 Initial Dividend And Announces Conference Call To Discuss Second Quarter 2012 Financial Results

PASADENA, Calif., July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation (NYSE: WMC) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.38 per share for the period from May 15, 2012 through June 30, 2012, following the closing of the Company's initial public offering ("IPO") and concurrent private placement. The second quarter 2012 dividend is payable on August 14, 2012 to common shareholders of record as of August 6, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of August 2, 2012.

The Company also announced that it will release financial results for the period from May 15, 2012 through June 30, 2012 after the market closes on Monday, August 13, 2012. The Company will host a corresponding conference call with a live webcast on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time/8:00 a.m. Pacific Time, to discuss those results and answer questions.
