Western Dental Dentists Join in Providing Services at CDA Cares Stockton
STOCKTON, Calif., Oct. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dentists and their staff team members from Western Dental & Orthodontics, one of the nation's leaders in accessible, affordable high-quality oral health care, were among hundreds of caring professionals who volunteered this past weekend at CDA Cares in Stockton.
The California Dental Association Foundation hosted the event at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. The event allowed volunteer dentists, other health professionals and community volunteers to provide free dental services to approximately 2,000 people.
Western Dental has been a presenting sponsor of CDA Cares outreach events for the past two years.

CDA Cares relied on the time and talents of hundreds of volunteers from both the dental profession and the greater Stockton community. Dental and health professionals, including general dentists, oral surgeons, hygienists, assistants, lab technicians, physicians, nurses and pharmacists, participated in the unified effort.
Over 100 portable dental chairs, lights and units were set up to treat patients, who were seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Services included cleanings, fillings, extractions, and on a limited basis, root canals for anterior teeth and denture procedures.
