WestJet reports on voting results from 2013 annual meeting of shareholders

CALGARY, May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - WestJet Airlines Ltd. (TSX: WJA and WJA.A) (WestJet) announced today the voting results from its Annual General Meeting held Tuesday May 7, 2013 in Calgary, Alberta.

The total number of shares represented by shareholders present in person and by proxy at the meeting was 61,207,973 representing 46.25% of WestJet's issued and outstanding Common Voting Shares and Variable Voting Shares. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business, including election of each of the thirteen director nominees as follows:
