WGU and RSL to Award One Year of Full Tuition to Four Utah Students
SALT LAKE CITY, June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Western Governors University (WGU) and Real Salt Lake (RSL) are teaming up to provide four Utah students with scholarships worth a full year of tuition. Applications are now being accepted for four WGU-RSL scholarships, which will cover the full $6,000 tuition for two six-month terms at WGU. The online university is also waiving the application fee for prospective students who apply by August 31, just use the code: RSLNATION.

To be eligible for a WGU-RSL Scholarship, applicants must be officially admitted to one of WGU's bachelor's or master's degree programs, complete the scholarship application, and be interviewed by a WGU scholarship counselor. While WGU will award up to four scholarships, recipients will be selected based on their academic records, financial need, and readiness for online study at WGU, among other considerations. The four scholarships will be awarded at the upcoming RSL-Portland Timbers match on Saturday, September 16.
Online, accredited, and nonprofit, WGU offers more than 60 bachelor's and master's degrees in business, K–12 teacher education, information technology, and health professions, including nursing.
