When the Host Needs Hosting: Amelia Dimoldenberg Takes the Guest Seat with IHG Hotels & Resorts
ATLANTA, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- After years of hosting some of the biggest names in Hollywood, Amelia Dimoldenberg is finally switching seats. In partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts, she kicks off "When the Host Needs Hosting," a new global, social-first campaign that gives the people who are always looking after everyone else the chance to sit back, switch off and be hosted for once. The campaign taps into a feeling familiar to many travelers: sometimes, the people who spend the most time looking after everyone else need someone to look after them.
A new survey conducted by IHG in collaboration with Talker found two-thirds (67%) of Americans say they are often or always the person responsible for caring for others, organizing plans or making sure everyone is having a good time. The same percentage agree that being in charge while traveling can sometimes make vacation feel like work.

The package is available at select U.S. properties, including InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, Kimpton Surfcomber Miami South Beach and Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York. Amelia is the first in a series of notable hosts taking part in "When the Host Needs Hosting," with new hosts and content from Australia, Mexico, Europe and other markets to follow.
