When We All Vote Taps Creators to Bring Voting to More than 20 Million Young People's Feeds

This National Voter Registration Day, Partners, Brands and When We All Vote's New Content Creator Network Shape How Young, Black and Latino Voters Participate in Democracy

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, on National Voter Registration Day, When We All Vote launched the Voting Squad — a nonpartisan network of content creators using their platforms to engage, educate and mobilize millions of young voters. Members of the Voting Squad include Joel Bervell, J.C. Carter, Brandon Edelman, Justin Frett, Cameron Jerrard, Scot Louie, Olive Okoro, Leon Ondieki, Wildlin Pierrevil, Carrie Snipes, Paige Tailyn, Gabriel Zamora and more.

Each Voting Squad member will use their authentic voices, styles and platforms to share relevant election information with young voters, including important dates and deadlines in their states, how the issues young people care about are on the ballot and fact-checked voter resources. At a time when lack of accurate information is one of the main barriers preventing Gen Z from voting, the Voting Squad will serve as trusted messengers to reach and resonate with young voters ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

National Voter Registration Day is a reminder for young people across the country that this year's elections are a chance to speak out about the issues they care about — but first, they have to register to vote. In 2024, more than half of young people did not make their voices heard at the ballot box, with issues or confusion registering to vote persisting as a common barrier. With nearly 50 million Gen Zers eligible to vote in the midterm elections, National Voter Registration Day brings Americans together to get registered and ready to vote as state voter registration deadlines approach this fall.
