White Lodging Awarded Hyatt's Strategic Partner Award

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., March 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging Services is pleased to announce it's the recipient of the 2012 Hyatt Strategic Partner award, presented at the Hyatt Place/Hyatt House owner's conference earlier this month.

In recent months, White Lodging has begun construction on Hyatt Place properties on a 212-room hotel in downtown Chicago and recently closed on land to build a 255-room Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Nashville. Construction is scheduled to begin in May in Nashville.

With 296 rooms and suites, the Hyatt Place Austin is the largest Hyatt Place under construction in North America, and is scheduled to open in the city's downtown in the Spring of 2013. Once open, it will be the 21st White Lodging managed property in Austin. Construction has added 250 construction jobs and 95 permanent jobs, totaling 1,030 White Lodging associates in Austin.
