MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce Cynthia Smoyer has been promoted to general manager of the Courtyard Philadelphia Malvern in Pa. Previously Smoyer was the assistant general manager at the same hotel.

Smoyer joined White Lodging from Marriott International in 2011 where she spent over seven years gaining hospitality experience in areas such as front office, sales, guest care and assistant general management. Her hospitality career began with Marriott International as a front desk associate at the Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Smoyer's goals are centered on the new White Lodging training program and ensuring top results for guest service and satisfaction.
