White Lodging Recruits Michael Fischer as New Chief Human Resources Officer
Fischer brings over 25 years of strategic hospitality human resources management experience to the fast-growing hotel management company
MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Aug. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging today announced former Loews Hotels & Co. executive Michael Fischer as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.

For the past four years, Fischer has led the Human Resources function for New York City based Loews Hotels & Co. As Executive Vice President, his responsibilities included leading all aspects of human capital management, such as building managerial capacity to grow and lead teams, expanding organizational capabilities, strategic talent acquisition and staffing, total rewards, training and development, labor relations, and compliance.

An accomplished leader, with more than 25 years of experience in human resources management, Fischer was with Loews Hotels and parent company, Loews Corporation, in various positions since 2004. In his previous role, he directed human resources for Loews Corporation, while supporting the hotel division as Human Resources Officer. Prior to Loews, he spent 16 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, holding various human resources leadership roles throughout the US and Caribbean.
Fischer earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Hospitality Management from the University of Wisconsin–Stout.
