Whitebox Advisors adds David Jonas in Strategic Relationships Role

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Whitebox Advisors, an asset management company based in Minneapolis with over $2.6 billion in AUM (9/30/2013), announced the hiring of David Jonas as a Managing Director for Strategic Relationships based in the New York/Tri-state area. 

Mr. Jonas will be responsible for building strategic relationships and delivering exceptional customer service for Whitebox's clients around the world.

Mr. Jonas joins Whitebox with nearly 20 years of marketing and investor relations experience.  In his most recent role, Mr. Jonas served as a Managing Director for Sales with Finisterre Capital, where he introduced the firm to the North American market, as well as built and developed its strategic relationships.  Prior to Finisterre, Jonas aided start-up firm XTF LP, an ETF-based asset allocation company, in building relationships and developing its marketing strategy with providers of variable annuities, separately managed accounts and defined contribution products.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Jonas held management positions with Neuberger Berman Management and Morgan Stanley, among others.
