"Why My Mom Deserves a Getaway" Contest Offers Chance to Win a Getaway & More at Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Moms deserve the very best, and Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District is pleased to offer its "Why My Mom Deserves a Getaway" contest, running Friday, March 1–Monday, April 15. Entrants will have a chance to win the grand prize: a two-night getaway for two to The District through the Stay, Play & Ride Package at the iconic Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Boulevard; second-place prize: a night out in The District; or the third-place prize: a day in The District.
Entrants simply need to write ― in 250 words or less ― why their mom deserves a getaway in Fort Lauderdale on the Stay, Play & Ride Package. Submissions will be accepted March 1–April 15. Winners will be notified by Wednesday, April 24.
Another promotion to show how much mom is loved is The District's "Picture My Mom in The District!" Anyone can submit a photo showcasing their mom, which will be featured on Riverwalk A&E social media channels throughout May. All who enter a photo will be automatically entered to win a $200 gift certificate to The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale mall, where they can pamper their mom with a shopping spree, plus two passes for complimentary entry to four Riverwalk A&E Cultural Partner venues (NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, Historic Stranahan House Museum, Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, and History Fort Lauderdale.) The deadline to enter a photo is Friday, May 31. The winner will be notified by Friday, June 7. Prizes must be redeemed by Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019.
