Mr. John Atkinson brings more then 28 years of progressive sales and marketing experience in Information Technology with a strong background in developing, building, and deploying international sales and marketing strategies, teams, and channels.  This significant addition to the WidePoint leadership team puts the company in a position to continue with its expansion of building and deploying a robust sales and marketing infrastructure in 2013; even as the Company broadens its solutions and reach from the federal sector to state and local municipalities and commercial market opportunities within the US and internationally to meet the needs of its multi-national customer base.
