Wilbur-Ellis Kicks Off 100th Anniversary Celebration With New Website and Giving Program That Benefits the Red Cross

SAN FRANCISCO, June 29, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Only a handful of companies last 100 years, and Wilbur-Ellis is beginning the celebration of its 100^th anniversary, as we count down to that milestone on June 29, 2021.

The celebration will continue over the next 12 months and includes a new 100^th Anniversary website and a new Giving Program that will benefit the Red Cross in the U.S., Canada and Asia-Pacific – the areas where Wilbur-Ellis employees live and work.

Wilbur-Ellis, a leading international marketer, distributor and manufacturer of agricultural products, animal nutrients and specialty chemicals and ingredients, kicks off its 100th anniversary year with a message from President & CEO John Buckley about the celebration and the Company's year-long Giving Program benefitting the Red Cross.

Executive Chairman of Wilbur-Ellis' Board of Directors and former President and CEO John Thacher conveys a heartfelt message on what the Company's 100th anniversary means to the Wilbur family. Wilbur-Ellis is a leading international marketer, distributor and manufacturer of agricultural products, animal nutrients and specialty chemicals and ingredients.

Wilbur-Ellis employees, the children in their families, and friends of the company (including customers, business partners and retirees) are invited to participate. On the 100^th Anniversary website, each month a question will be posted for adults about how we can continue to grow, innovate, give and evolve – the themes of our celebration. Kids will have a question tailored just for them. For each response submitted, Wilbur-Ellis will make a donation to the Red Cross.

Details about the Giving Program are posted on the 100^th Anniversary website – and while visitors are there, they'll find stories about Wilbur-Ellis history and reflections on what it means to be a 100-year-old company that is still owned by its founding family.
