More than 4,300 companies were nominated or submitted to the 2019 Top Workplaces awards, which is produced by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in partnership with Energage. "Top Workplaces" rankings were determined solely by the results of employee feedback surveys, which focused on several areas related to workplace culture, including employee engagement, company leadership and the basics (pay, benefits, flexibility, training and expectations). Each company required a survey response rate of at least 35 percent for employees based in Metro Atlanta. Windham Brannon had an impressive 69 percent response rate.
