Wine and Spirits Consulting Agency Brindiamo Group Opening Europe Office
DUBLIN, July 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The wine and spirits beverage industry's globally recognized consulting agency, Brindiamo Group, is opening a new office in Europe.
By having an "on the ground" presence in Europe, Brindiamo Group will have access to support our clients through strategic initiatives and in turn lead to a better service position.

The latest expansion will diversify the strong foundations the group has already established within these two markets. The establishment of the new office brings along new team member Ray McLaughlin, who will spearhead the European initiative. With over seventeen years in private equity, his experience will help nurture relationships and facilitate growth globally.

The expansion comes amid increased demand for Scotch and Irish Whiskey. The value of exports of Scotch Whisky rose 9 percent to £4.36 Billion in 2017. The strength of Scotch exports increased 1.6 percent in volume to the equivalent 1.23 Billion Bottles. The Irish Whiskey Association (IWA) set a goal of doubling sales from 72 million bottles in 2016 to 144 million bottles by 2020 and to 288 million bottles by 2030. In the last year, Irish whiskey sales were on track to meet this goal by selling an estimated 120 million bottles in 2017.
