Wingstop Hits Seven Straight Years of Comp Restaurant Sales Increases

DALLAS, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Wingstop continues to defy industry trends. As one of the fastest growing chains in the nation, the company has reached 28 consecutive quarters of positive comparable store sales – that's seven straight years of continued growth for the 16-year old brand. Wingstop has announced that same store sales for the first two quarters of 2010 are up 1.5 percent over 2009.

Ninety-five percent of the 447 Wingstop stores across the U.S. and Mexico are franchise owned and operated and the chain plans to open 50 more franchised locations this year, including the first store in New York and additional restaurants in Mexico, Chicago and Kansas City.
