Winston & Strawn Bolsters Advertising, Marketing and Regulatory Investigations Practice With Addition of Anthony E. DiResta to its Washington, D.C. Office

DiResta has joined its advertising, marketing, and entertainment law practice in Washington, D.C. as a partner.  DiResta brings more than 25 years of experience in governmental investigations, white collar civil defense matters, and complex commercial litigation in the state and federal trial and appellate courts with a particular focus on consumer protection issues affecting a wide range of industries (including privacy, false advertising and unfair marketing practices, and financial practices).  DiResta is also a recognized authority on social and new media issues, and serves as general counsel to the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA), which is the leading voice in the United States for the viral, buzz, and word of mouth marketing industry.  He joins Winston from Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP.
