Wipfli Financial Advisors Earns a Spot on Financial Advisor Magazine's Largest RIAs Ranking
MILWAUKEE, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wipfli Financial Advisors, LLC (Wipfli Financial), a national investment advisory firm, announced that it has placed on Financial Advisor (FA) Magazine's RIA Ranking list for the ninth year — coming in at number 62 for 2018. The list ranks registered investment advisors (RIAs) by assets under management (AUM).
FA Magazine noted in its report that the fiduciary model of placing clients' interests ahead of advisors' own is gaining traction in the public. In fact, it's not only attracting new clients but also attracting former brokerage advisors who are interested in better serving clients. The client-first standard has been Wipfli Financial's philosophy from the beginning.

Effective June 1, the California- and Florida-based practice offices separated from Wipfli Financial, which resulted in changes to the firm's name and leadership structure and brought down its AUM number to approximately $3.1 billion. The new AUM number is materially different from what was reported to FA Magazine in early 2018.
To be eligible for FA Magazine's ranking, advisory firms were required to be RIAs; file their own Form ADV statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Corporate RIA firms and investment advisor representatives (IARs) were not eligible for this survey. Wipfli Financial did not pay to be considered.
