CAMPBELL, Calif., May 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wisair, the leading provider of single-chip based Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Wireless USB solutions, announced today that it will demonstrate a wirelessly connected Android Tablet to a flat TV and to additional USB devices, during Computex Taipei exhibition next week (May 31-June 4).
Wisair's solutions enable a variety of applications requiring real time display streaming and low latency. Users will be able to wirelessly stream their Tablet display to a flat TV, stream video from any web site to the TV in real time, play games on the TV using the Tablet as the controller and use the Tablet touch interface for drawing on the big screen. The latency inherent in other solutions that typically utilize Wi-Fi, their data rate limitations and the crowded Wi-Fi/Bluetooth radio channels, make such real-time low-latency applications impossible or impractical. In addition Wireless USB is optimized for simultaneous multiple data, audio and video streams, required for applications such as Tablet wireless docking with connectivity to legacy USB devices (such as mass storage, printers and scanners).
