Wisconsin Author Releases Debut Middle Grade Novel on March 6
GLENDALE, Wis., Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wisconsin author Lora Hyler adds to the superhero canon as Black Panther breaks world box office records. The Stupendous Adventures of Mighty Marty Hayes features a 12-year-old African-American superhero and a multicultural cast of friends, who work on CRISPR-Cas9 in their 7th grade advanced science classroom, and love spy gadgets.
She has written several award-winning screenplays. Her son, William and his multicultural band of friends growing up, served as inspiration for the novel. She's thrilled at the book's advance praise.
