WisdomAI Introduces Owls, First-of-Its-Kind Always-On AI Analysts That Work Toward Business Outcomes
Built on WisdomAI's Analytics Harness and Enterprise Context Layer, Owls continuously deliver on assigned business goals by analyzing governed data, acting on approved recommendations, and tracking results.
SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WisdomAI today announced Owls, a new class of always-on AI analyst designed to handle ongoing business responsibilities. Employees can delegate a business goal, such as improving sales performance, reducing customer churn, or managing operating costs. The Owl independently analyzes enterprise data, identifies opportunities, recommends actions, and tracks progress toward the assigned goal.
WisdomAI already gives teams accurate, trusted answers from their enterprise data. Owls build on that foundation to take on a business goal and work on what needs to happen to deliver it. Owls use WisdomAI's Chat, Live Apps, and Agents to get the work done. Employees assign goals and interact with Owls through Slack or Microsoft Teams, where they can review findings, provide direction, and approve recommended actions.
For example, a sales leader can delegate an Owl to help close a quarterly revenue gap. The Owl analyzes pipeline data, identifies at-risk deals, investigates factors affecting conversion, and recommends where the team should focus. With approval, it updates the connected business systems, makes recommended actions to the corresponding sales reps, and reports progress against the gap every week.
"Most analytics tools help people understand what's happening in their business, but the responsibility for deciding what to do next still falls on the employee," said Soham Mazumdar, CEO of WisdomAI. "Owls take us from the age of simply answering questions to the era of trusted autonomy. You simply delegate a goal to your Owl, which works as your professional AI analyst that already understands your business, investigates what matters, keeps learning as conditions change, and acts on your behalf upon approval."
What Owls Can Do
A leader gives an Owl a goal. The Owl works out what needs to happen, brings back a plan for approval, carries it out, and reports results until the goal is met. For example:
- Closing a revenue gap: A sales leader asks an Owl to help close a quarterly revenue gap. The Owl finds at-risk deals and the factors slowing conversion, and recommends where the team should focus. Once the leader approves, it updates the CRM, sends next steps to each rep, and reports progress against the gap every week.
- Raising trial conversion: A VP of Growth asks an Owl to raise trial-to-paid conversion from 12% to 15%. The Owl finds that 40% of trial users never connect a data source in their first three days, and that users who do connect one convert at three times the average rate. It recommends a shorter setup flow and a prompt on day two. Once approved, it sets up the A/B test, creates tickets for the onboarding change, and reports results weekly.
- Increasing cash flow: A CFO asks an Owl to cut days sales outstanding by 10 days. The Owl traces most late payments to 30 accounts with recurring invoice disputes and to customers who still pay by check. It recommends a collections priority list and moving 120 customers to automatic payment. Once the CFO approves, it assigns collections tasks in the billing system, flags renewals in the CRM, and reports DSO each month.
How Owls Work
Owls combine three capabilities:
- Continuous analysis and follow-through: Owls work toward assigned goals in the background, identify changes in business performance, investigate potential root causes, and recommend next steps. They continue monitoring progress rather than stopping after an individual analysis or report. The follow-through it does beyond continuous analysis is missing in the capability statement.
- Persistent memory: Owls maintain a working memory of assigned goals, previous analyses, employee feedback, recommendations, and results. This allows them to build on earlier work and refine their recommendations over time. Employees can review and edit what their Owl remembers.
- Governed enterprise intelligence: Owls operate on the enterprise data, business definitions, and security permissions established in WisdomAI. Recommendations are supported by traceable analysis, while administrators control which actions are permitted, require approval, or are prohibited. An auditable history records what each Owl has done.
Owls use WisdomAI's Chat, Live Apps, and Agents to analyze performance, monitor metrics, and coordinate workflows, all on the foundation the data team has already sanctioned. The Enterprise Context Layer supplies governed definitions and permissions, and the Analytics Harness makes every analysis traceable. That's what lets Owls work as trusted teammates and scale across the business.
Availability
Owls will be available to its customers as a beta in early November.
