WISE Is Proud To Announce Its Nominees For The 2015 Women Of The Year Awards

NEW YORK, Dec. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Women in Sports and Events (WISE), the leading voice and resource for women in the business of sports, announced its nominees for the 2015 WISE Women of the Year honors. This coveted award will be presented to three women at the 21^st Annual WISE Women of the Year Awards Luncheon, June 16, 2015, in New York City at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The following women were nominated for their accomplishments and contributions to the business of sports:

Alison Weber — EVP, Strategy and Creative Group, Levy Restaurants
Amy Latimer — President, TD Garden
Benita Fitzgerald Mosley — Chief of Organizational Excellence, USOC
Jay Parry — CEO, Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee
Jodi Markley — SVP, Operations, ESPN
Karen Brodkin — President of Business Affairs, IMG
Lara Price — EVP, Philadelphia Sixers, Prudential Center and NJ Devils
Mary Scott — President, Sports & Experiential Marketing, United Entertainment Group, an Edelman Company
Melinda Witmer — EVP, Chief Video Officer & COO TWC Networks, Time Warner Cable

These extraordinary candidates were nominated by their peers within WISE for all that they have contributed to business of sports.

The final ballot has been issued to all WISE members for a national vote, which closes at 8 p.m. EST on December 17.
