Wish Child Attending The 57th Grammy's

The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada grants the wish of a child to attend the Grammys On February 8^th, 2015

PICKERING, ON, Feb. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada is sending 17-year-old Wish Child Marie-Jeanne from Quebec to the annual 57^th Grammy's taking place on Sunday February 8^th, 2015.

Wish Child Marie-Jeanne will fly to Los Angeles with her family where they will attend the live show and the invitation only after-party in hopes to meet her favourite celebrities.

In a letter to The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, Marie-Jeanne says that music and dance has always been an important part of her life since she was three years old. Her first passion has always been dancing but that dream came to a halt when Marie-Jeanne was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She immediately began treatment and underwent three operations to remove the tumor. Due to complications, Marie-Jeanne developed Posterior Fossa Syndrome that left her unable to speak or walk. She had to re-learn those abilities through intense amounts of rehabilitation. "I made very significant progress and I never gave up. I won't ever give up, even though I still have some ways to go," Marie-Jeanne wrote in her letter to Children's Wish.

Marie-Jeanne's Wish is all about engaging her passion, which led to her Wish to attend the Grammy's Award Show in Los Angeles. Marie-Jeanne reminisces that "music and dance has always been an important part of my life and since the brain tumor, I miss dancing a lot."
