WISP Builder Announces Expansion of its WISP Security Services to Comply with Mandatory IRS and FTC Protocols

These new services are available to help subscribers develop their legally-required Written Information Security Plan (WISP) and offer expert security review of existing security plans. With these new services, WISP Builder is now providing a full-service suite of solutions for tax and accounting firms of all sizes to comply with mandatory IRS and FTC protocols.

WISP Builder was launched in Fall of 2024, becoming the first- and only-of-its-kind online tool to build, safely store, and provide compliance confirmation with e-signatures of legally required WISPs. Other compliance measures include training resources, proof of team acknowledgement, and automated reminders for regular review of their security plan.

WISP Assist is an upgrade that brings a WISP expert into the plan-building process for those that need some help. This live expert helps create the WISP, ensuring it meets mandatory protocols, and suggesting technology and process alternatives to prevent data breaches.

WISP Review is another upgrade made available for practices who have already built their plan in WISP Builder. A live WISP expert reviews the existing plan and suggests changes to prevent data breaches and meet mandatory protocols.
