WizIQ Launches Course Assignment to Engage and Evaluate Learners Better

The Assignment feature enables educators to engage learners better and evaluate their understanding of a subject or course in a more comprehensive manner. The assignments created by the educators or teachers can be added to their online courses on the platform.

Using the Course Assignment feature, teachers can:

Create Assignments for Learners: Teachers can create multiple assignments with or without a due date for submission and add or upload relevant assignment files to them. After an assignment is created, it automatically gets added to the course.

Notify the Learners: Teachers can notify the learners of the new assignment created by them through an automated email notification that has details of the assignment. The email notification is sent to all the course learners as soon as the assignment is created.

Provide Submission Reminders: Teachers can remind the learners of the submission due date and time. When the assignment due date is approaching, an automated email reminder is sent a day before the due date, to all the course learners prompting them to make a submission on or before the due date.  

Review the Submissions: Teachers can review the assignments submitted by the learners and provide their feedback on the submission.

Conduct discussions with learners: Teachers can share additional notes, useful inputs or tips and discuss the submission with individual learners. These discussions cannot be viewed by other course learners, which allows the teachers to keep their discussions discrete and give specific feedback or inputs to the learners.
