With more than 20 years experience, Velez is well known in the Bay Area for her involvement with multiple mortgage and real estate industry associations, such as the San Mateo County Association of Realtors (SAMCAR) and Realtor Service Volunteer Program (RSVP). She currently serves as state president of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals (CAMP) and holds a seat as chairwoman for the SAMCAR legislative committee.
Prior to joining W.J. Bradley, Velez held the position of sales manager with Prospect Mortgage for nearly two years. She has consistently been ranked as a top producer in the industry while maintaining a high level of community involvement. She has participated in leading and organizing multiple marathons and has raised more than $700,000 with Team in Training fundraising effort for finding a cure for the Leukemia, Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma Society.
