Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP Expands Intellectual Property Practice Group
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolf, Rifkin, Shapiro, Schulman & Rabkin, LLP announced the addition of three registered patent attorneys to the Firm's Entertainment & Intellectual Property Practice Group -- Mark Mizrahi, Bruce Jagger and Lance Pritikin. All three attorneys reside in the Firm's Los Angeles office.
Mark Mizrahi, who joins the Firm as a partner, handles all aspects of intellectual property with an emphasis in patent, trademark and copyright litigation. Mark counsels clients on acquiring and maintaining national and international patent, trademark and copyright rights, and infringement issues in diverse industries. In addition, he prepares and negotiates licenses and agreements. Mark received his Juris Doctorate in 1995 from the University of Southern California.
Bruce Jagger, Of Counsel, brings more than 50 years of patent experience to the Firm. For the majority of his career, he has represented clients in litigation before State and Federal Courts, and before the U.S. and Patent Trademark Office. Bruce's practice is now focused primarily on preparing and prosecuting patent applications. Bruce is a founding member of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property American Inn of Court. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University and was admitted to practice law in 1962.
Associate Lance Pritikin's experience includes patent and trademark prosecution, IP due diligence, and technical design consulting. He prosecutes patent applications across a wide variety of technology fields, and trademark registration applications for clients in the entertainment, jewelry, restaurant, technology, and fashion industries. Prior to practicing law, Lance served as a lead spacecraft engineer for one of the largest defense contractors in the world. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School and was admitted to practice law in 2007.
