Womansplain Takes Its Message to the Billboards, Days After a Sold-Out First Summit

Now live on 61 digital billboards across three states, with Times Square next.

NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Womansplain, the podcast and community for female founders, operators and investors, is now on digital billboards across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. The four-week campaign spans 61 placements at 44 locations, including Philadelphia, Newark, Jersey City, Trenton, Camden and Atlantic City, the Walt Whitman Bridge, and I-95, I-80, I-287 and I-295. A Times Square placement follows next month.

The campaign launched days after Womansplain hosted its first Summit on Oct. 16 at The Malin Chelsea in New York. The sold-out event brought together 117 founders, operators and investors for a keynote from Robinhood Chief Investment Officer Stephanie Guild, five panels, AI and product workshops, and the first Womansplain Awards. Everything served that day came from women-owned brands in the community.

"When we started Womansplain, we kept meeting incredible women who weren't getting the attention they deserved, because no one in the room was saying their names," said Brooke Sowa, co-founder of Womansplain. "Almost three years later, we say their names on billboards across three states, and next month in Times Square."

Brooke Sowa and Sola Park, who both built their careers in finance, founded Womansplain in January 2024. It has since released more than 70 episodes and passed 400,000 views and downloads. Its community of more than 6,500 women includes founders who have raised more than $1 billion.

"People like to say certain founders just get lucky, but luck is really surface area," said Sola Park, co-founder of Womansplain. "Women get less of it at every stage, from the first intro to the first check. We built Womansplain to put them in more rooms and in front of more people. Now our community is on billboards and a lot harder to overlook."

Season 7 of the Womansplain podcast is out now, opening with Allyse Cirillo, founder of luxury skincare brand SAINT JŌ, on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
