PITTSBURGH, Feb. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Wombat Security Technologies (Wombat), the leading provider of security awareness and training, today announces the industry's first configurable cybersecurity education module, which allows organizations to educate their users to create strong, effective passwords that comply with specific company policies. This is the first in a series of new modules that will examine password and authentication techniques.

Today, Wombat has taken that vision one step further with the introduction of the new Password Policy training module, which provides the following capabilities:
- Allows organizations to configure training to match their individual password policies.
- Teaches universal best practices in password creation, providing awareness to users on the risks of creating ineffective passwords.
- Dynamically changes the content that is taught and assessed based on configuration settings, to ensure end users are skilled at creating strong, compliant passwords.
- Serves as a solid introduction to password best practices. Future modules will add to the content, with topics that will include password management, passphrases, PINs, and multi-factor authentication.
Forthcoming training releases will provide additional configuration in the topical areas of password management tools and the Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Future training customization options will include the ability to modify the passing score in each lesson and to disable content that may not align with company policies.
