Wooster Brush Joins Ohio Habitat for Humanity Project

TWINSBURG, Ohio, Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 8th and 9th two Habitat for Humanity homes received fresh coats of paint thanks to Ace Hardware, Valspar Corporation, and The Wooster Brush Company. These new homes are now ready for two Twinsburg, Ohio families just in time for the holidays.

The Wooster Brush Company regularly conducts product knowledge sessions for paint and hardware store personnel; however, this project allowed the Ohio-based paint applicator manufacturer to take its educational efforts one step further. Through a donation of tools and time, Wooster Brush spent these two days educating Ace Hardware personnel about selecting the best tools for various coating jobs and demonstrating proper painting techniques.

"It was great that our three companies were able to work together and turn this product-knowledge session into good deeds for these two Ohio families," said Casey Mathews, national account manager for The Wooster Brush Company.

Custom colors of Optimus and Aspire Interior Paint were donated by Valspar Corporation for this project. To learn more about Valspar coatings and Optimus paint visit valsparpaint.com.

More than 15 volunteers from Ace Hardware locations around northeast Ohio painted these two Twinsburg homes on December 8th and 9th. Visit acehardware.com to learn more about Ace Hardware and to find a location near you.
