Work, Live And Network For Free In Arlington, Virginia With Startup Arlington Competition

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Arlington, Virginia, located minutes from the nation's capital and becoming a tech startup hub on the East Coast, is giving one startup company the chance to start off the new year with an incredible opportunity. Startup Arlington will give one tech startup four months of free living space, office space, mentoring and more, all while discovering the opportunities and resources available in Arlington. The chance to apply begins Monday, October 15 and runs through November 2.

Startup Arlington has partnered with the UVA Darden School of Business and Mid-Atlantic Venture Association for exclusive mentoring to help a startup grow its business in Arlington's Rosslyn neighborhood. The Startup Arlington winner will receive four months of lodging at the Residence Inn Rosslyn, just steps away, as well as incubator space at the Rosslyn co-working offices of Spaces. The winner will also be able to take advantage of concierge and orientation services from Chasing Dragons, transportation passes via Arlington Transportation Partners, a variety of neighborhood amenities from the Rosslyn Business Improvement District and more.

This is the third year Arlington Economic Development has offered the Startup Arlington competition, which is open to founders/CEOs of technology startups outside the greater D.C. area. Interested entrepreneurs should demonstrate how they benefit from being a part of Arlington's growing tech community. Applications are being accepted online through November 2. Three finalists will then be asked to submit video presentations for consideration, which will be open for public voting in late November. The winner will begin his/her time in Arlington in January 2019.
