Workfront Leap 2015 User Conference Draws 600-Plus Attendees

SILICON SLOPES, Utah, May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Workfront, the leading provider of cloud-based Enterprise Work Management solutions, has concluded its annual user conference, Workfront Leap 2015, held at The Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. During the event, held May 18-21, more than 600 attendees met to learn about best practices and participate in forward-thinking discussions on how to improve work efficiencies.

The conference theme, Extend Your Reach, focused on how effective work management can extend the reach and success of a business in the marketplace; extend an employee's personal reach inside an organization; and can be applied to extending visibility – allowing more people within the organization to collaborate together, and better understand the work that's being accomplished.

• Thought-Provoking Keynote: David Allen, author of Getting Things Done, was the main keynote speaker and shared with attendees how to bring order to the chaos of work with stress-free productivity.

Workfront also announced the five companies to win the first annual Workfront Enterprise Work Management Awards:

• Top Performer – InterMetro, a division of Emerson Commercial and Residential Solutions:  InterMetro was recognized for implementing standardized processes that boosted their new product development process compliance from 15% to 80%. They increased visibility into capitalized R&D costs, saving the company more than $500K. They also improved risk management, reduced meeting times by two-thirds and provided support for mixed methodologies.
• First Year All-Star – MRM/McCann MRM//McCann Salt Lake City was recognized for their ability to implement Workfront for clients spanning 30 offices across 20 countries in less than 4 months. They achieved a high rate of adoption by establishing Workfront as their standard for managing work.  They also created a dynamic customer portal to better serve their clients, and customized a series of dashboards and reports to meet the needs of the many audiences they serve.  
• Non-Conformist – Caselle: Caselle, which initially used Workfront to deploy software solutions to local government organizations in 2006, was honored for recognizing the potential of a work management solution to streamline software implementations and drive customer success. Today, Workfront allows Caselle's implementation team to manage more than 1,000 simultaneous new conversions, upgrades, and software development projects, and improve the delivery of local government services across the country.
• Change Leader – Suncor Energy: Suncor Energy was recognized for their extensive efforts to help users understand that successful tool adoption requires internal work to define who would use the tool, when they would use it, and how success would be measured. They also used a change management model to support and monitor user adoption of the tool, and provided ongoing training that spanned 10 months past the launch date.
• Optimization Expert – Cisco Systems: Cisco Systems was recognized for their continual focus on creating a "delightful" customer experience. Cisco started by boosting their on-time delivery from 96% to 99% in the first 3 months. And because of their focus on delighting their users, they achieved a high workforce utilization rate of more than 85% and grew from just a handful of users to more than 500 licensed users and 3,000 requestors in just over two years.
