Dobbyn, now in his 11th year in the sport of long drive, owns the world record for golf's longest drive in a sanctioned professional golf tournament at 551 yards. He also won the 2007 RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship and has reached the finals on three separate occasions. Dobbyn stands 6'8", weighs 300 lbs., has a size 18 foot, and a jacket size of 60 extra-extra long. He swings his driver in competition on average between 145-152 mph and has been clocked on a launch monitor as high as 163 mph.
